Jessica, I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. You were so beautiful and my lifelong dream of having a daughter had come true. As a baby you were so happy and brought such joy to your father and me. Your big brother, Jeremy, was your best friend. When you were 13 you seemed to change and daddy and I did not understand. You turned to alcohol and drugs at such a young age. We sent you to CEDU at age 16 and you stayed there until you were 18. These were difficult years for us - we missed you so much and wanted so desperately for you to come home to us. As a family we worked hard on our "issues" and a bond developed between us that gave me so such hope. In December 1997 you finally came home. Within a couple of months you were addicted to heroin. Why? I will never understand the demons you battled. You fought so hard these past couple of years. I know you wanted to be free from the grip of this drug. You fought and fought. Your battle is now over and you are finally at peace. We miss you more with each day that passes. We love you so much Little Boo.........................all my love, Mom
